Missunderstanding

01.06.1998

Everything the light touches,
Everything your eyes can see,
Everything that can be measured
By the length of your perception
And your understanding
You can accept.
But the shadows of
The unseen corners of reality,
Which cannot be labeled,
Or gathered in one glance
Of your mind's eye,
Will never be perceived
As part of you
And everything that surrounds you.
How can you then say
That you know yourself?
